Is it better to go to Burnaby or straight to Langley?
Either works. Burnaby is closer for most of the Tri-Cities and your device goes to the Langley lab the same day. If you live east of Coquitlam or want to hand it directly to the lab, Langley is about 30 minutes over the Port Mann Bridge and also takes walk-ins, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.
How much does data recovery cost?
Every case is different, so we provide a clear quote before any work begins, and you approve it first. Our policy is simple: no data, no fee. If we cannot recover your data, you do not pay for the recovery attempt.
Can you recover a clicking or non-detecting hard drive?
Yes. Clicking or a drive that is not detected usually means a mechanical failure that needs cleanroom work. Power the drive off and bring it in, continuing to run a clicking drive can cause permanent damage. Do not open the drive yourself.
How long does data recovery take?
We evaluate the device within 48 hours of receiving it and send a clear quote. Most standard recoveries are completed in 10 to 12 business days after you approve the quote. Faster options are available for an added fee.
